GOTS Organic Textile Products:

This standard stipulates requirements throughout the supply chain for both ecological and labour conditions in textile and apparel manufacturing using organically produced raw materials. Organic production is based on a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic, persistent pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. In addition, it includes welfare standards for animal husbandry and prohibits genetically modified organisms.

BCI Cotton assures global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future.

A Textile product with the FAIRTRADE Mark means the producers and businesses have met the stringent Fairtrade social, economic and environmental standards, thereby ensures ethical textile manufacturing.

We enable consumers and companies to make responsible decisions which protect our planet for future generations. The testing and certification process on which our standards are based guarantees maximum consumer safety. OEKO-TEX Certifications makes sustainability easy.

The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) are international, voluntary standards that set requirements for third-party certification of recycled input and chain of custody. The shared goal of the standards is to increase the use of recycled materials.

The pioneering Lenzing's REFIBRA™ technology involves upcycling cotton scraps from garment production. These cotton scraps are transformed into cotton pulp. A substantial proportion – up to one third – of this is added to wood pulp, and the combined raw material is transformed to produce new virgin TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers to make fabrics and garments.

Derived from certified renewable wood sources using an eco-responsible production process by meeting high environmental standards, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibers tailor to a sustainable lifestyle, contributing to a cleaner environment.

Birla Excel fibre is truly eco-friendly, made from a unique closed-loop process where the byproducts are completely reused, thereby minimizing discharge and reducing environmental impact.
